MR. KIRAGU WATHUTA

Founder

Mr. Wathuta is an Advocate of the High the Court of Kenya, admitted to the bar in the year 2009. This is his tenth year in active practice and has hands-on experience in various areas of law.
EDUCATION

A holder of a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and a post-graduate Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law Mr. Wathuta is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has also furthered his arbitration skills by undertaking International Commercial Arbitration in his Master of Laws studies at the University Of Nairobi School Of Law. Currently, he is a continuing Master of Laws student specializing in International Trade and Investment Law. He is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya.

WORK EXPERIENCE

He has previously worked in the firms of Sichangi & Company Advocates as well as Simba & Simba Advocates. From his experience, he possesses vast legal knowledge and expertise in several areas of practice such as; Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation and Arbitration Law, Labour and Employment Disputes, Judicial Review and Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Law, Aviation and Energy Law, Insurance law amongst others.

His main areas of practice include private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial law, structured trade finance, corporate restructuring, tax law, and capital markets. He represents both local and international clients in high value and complex transactions and has handled various real estate and development projects and loan financing transactions.

Francis is an Associate at the firm in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) having been admitted to the Bar in August 2022.

Francis handles all areas litigation, ranging from civil litigation, criminal litigation, corporate and commercial law, employment and labor related disputes with a special affinity and passion for Public Procurement Law. He is also well versed in and handles preparation of legal opinions, debt collection, legal audit and compliance work on behalf of corporate clients.

She has extensive knowledge and expertise in conveyancing, commercial and corporate law, Probate & Administration Law, employment and labour relations, ADR among other areas of law. She possesses a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Nairobi and has been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, with membership in the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) following her admission to the Bar in November 2024. Her legal practice encompasses a broad spectrum of litigation areas, including civil litigation, criminal litigation, corporate and commercial law, and employment and labor-related disputes. She exhibits particular expertise and enthusiasm for matters pertaining to Employment and Labour Relations, as well as Environment and Land Law. Additionally, Mary is skilled in preparing legal opinions, conducting debt collection, performing legal audits, and ensuring compliance for corporate clients.

Ms. Nyambura is a dedicated and versatile professional who serves as an administrator. She helps in directing and coordinating the activities of the firm activities including Organization, planning and direction of our department.

Ms. Nyambura is also a diligent licensed process server she ensures smooth functioning of the office by ensuring that all relevant documents are delivered in appropriate individuals in time, served and filed.

Ms. Wambua is committed to providing insightful legal solutions and contributing to the dynamic field of law. Her passion for lifelong learning and professional development motivates her to succeed in both her current training and future legal practice.

HOSEA OTIENO

Hosea holds a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi and is currently enrolled at Kenya School of Law for the Advocates Training Program.He is a highly motivated and dedicated legal researcher with overwhelming enthusiasm in comparative constitutional and human rights law, international humanitarian law, litigation, legal drafting, probate and succession, consumer protection and probate and succession law.He is currently being trained on the practice of the above areas of law. Hosea has proficient organizational skills and is detail oriented to ensure successful case outcomes.

Associates, legal Assistants, Paralegal and support staff

We have a training program that admits interns and pupils with a view to equipping them with practical skills in legal practice and client management.

They work closely with the advocates and the Legal Clerks to acquire the necessary skills touching on various spheres of legal practice. The Firm has a dedicated and committed pool of administrative and support staff comprising of an accountant, secretary, clerk, dispatch and office assistant who work closely under the supervision of the advocates.
